Here it is, my Rapunzel costume!

I based this costume off the Disney concept art that popped up a while back. It seems her outfit will be completely different in the movie now, but I had to make this version because it's so pink and I don't have a Princess dress!

i love this version of the dress so much more. the final dress had lace for crying out loud! who wears lace if you hang out in your room all day and never see anybody? it seems she would be more downdressed like this. i would never own anything besides sweat pants

There is actually a bit of lace on this version - apricot coloured, which runs along the top of the busier. There's not nearly as much lace as on the finalised costume though!

This is probably a stupid question, but where did you get the wig. Its the best Rapunzel wig I've seen.

I got the wig off a seller on ebay, but I don't believe the seller has any more of this type of wig in stock (search comes up missing their auctions). Try a search for 'Godiva wig', mine is 5 foot long, or 60". What you pay for is what you get. I started out with a very cheap one which was thin, kept loosing hair, and looked very shiny and fake. The one I 'upgraded' to was much more expensive (about US$60), but it is far superior in every way.
