How do you keep the skirt from revealing what it shouldn't?

The skirt runs the full width of the plates, and the plates are fairly heavy so they won't just go up.

I can see what people mean, there is something of Carrie Fisher in your look/expression.
The look-back-over-the-shoulder pose is a classic and you nailed it, very expressive shoulders (and just a little bit cheeky :D).
